Gina Chen is an incoming associate at the international law firm of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York. She graduated cum laude with Juris Doctorate degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2017, and graduated cum laude from Yale University in 2011. In law school, she worked for the Honorable Judge Joan H. Lefkow of the United States federal district court for the Northern District of Illinois and was the Executive Articles Editor for the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business. Prior to law school, she worked in organization development for non-profit and non-governmental organizations in China, promoting sustainable rural and urban development. She was a 2011 U.S. Fulbright Scholar to China, researching the rebuilding efforts after the 2008 Sichuan earthquakes. Gina is passionate about sustainable entrepreneurship, having co-founded two ventures. She is working with her team on technological consumer-oriented solutions in managing environmental pollution.
